2. Distillation Column Packing Standard:
This standard puts forward clear requirements for the structural dimension, material requirements, processing and manufacturing of stainless steel orifice corrugated packing, as well as the inspection method, acceptance rules, product packaging, storage and transportation of the packing.
This standard specifies the requirements for marking, specification and characteristics, materials, manufacturing requirements, inspection and acceptance, marking, packaging, storage and transportation of stainless steel orifice corrugated packing products, as well as the calculation of characteristic parameters of orifice corrugated packing.
3. Distillation Column Packing Material & Application:
The corrugated packing with stainless steel orifice plate is suitable for gas-liquid mass transfer separation tower equipment, and the applicable temperature of the packing is - 200 ~ 400 ℃.

4. Distillation Column Packing Advantage:
Structured packing was first introduced to the market in 20th century. Its distinct performance advantages became clear very quickly and lead it to transform the mass transfer market after then. It is now the preferred packing for many applications.
Hualai’s structured packing is formed from vertical sheets of corrugated metal with the angle of the corrugations reversed in adjacent sheets to form a very open structure with inclined flow channels. To simplify installation, it is delivered in preformed segments that are sized to fit through the vessel manways. A high surface area will only provide efficient mass transfer if it is effectively used to increase vapour-liquid contact. So a variety of surface enhancements are employed to promote liquid spreading over the packing surface. The low resistance to vapour flow together with efficient use of available surface tends to give structured packings significant performance advantages over random packings in high vapour rate/low liquid rate systems.

Hualai structured packing uses the industry standard corrugated perforated and embossed sheet metal design to provide efficient vapour-liquid contact. The style of the embossed surface has been optimised to provide maximum wetability and numerous perforations enhance cross mixing of the process fluids. Type Y has a crimp angle of 45° and type X 30°. Suitable liquid irrigation range from below 0.5 up to 200 m3/m2.hr.
