Flat wire knitting mesh:
Knitted flat wire mesh screen is also known as vapor liquid filter screen, foam breaking screen, packing screen, gas liquid screen, foam catching screen, woven screen, knitted screen, braided screen and shielded metal screen. It is a kind of wire mesh woven in special form, which is used to make wire mesh demister and wire mesh mist eliminator in chemical industry, to eliminate or capture the fog drop and liquid foam entrained in the gas in the process of catalyst and distillation, evaporation, absorption, etc..
Flat wire knitting mesh is used for oil-gas separation, oil-water separation, gas-liquid separation, shock absorption and silencing, sealing in the manufacturing process of mechanical equipment components, etc.; used for dust removal, water removal, mist removal and air purification in the field of environmental protection, flue gas desulfurization, water treatment equipment, oil-water separator; separation and filtering devices for various occasions; filter elements for automobiles and tractors; sealing, shock absorption (shock avoiding), noise reduction and exhaust purification elements in automobile parts; shielding devices for electromagnetic interference of electronic and electrical products are widely used.

Knitted flat copper mesh for screw cleaning:
Step 1: Use a purging compound to clean the extruder. Then use small ball of copper mesh with some silicone grease on it to clean the die face. Also please clean the valve when it is still hot.
Step 2: Remove the die from the extruder head. It is best to clean it by silicone coated copper gauze forced through the die with a wooden dowel.
Step 3: Pull back and forth the copper gauze to complete the cleaning after it pass through the die.
Step 4: Make sure that no residual trace of adhered plastic is left, nor causing a scratch on the metal surface, so the die is thoroughly clean.
Step 5: Remove the hot screw partly, wrap the copper gauze with silicone coating 3 times around the screw, pull back and forth to do the cleaning.
Step 6: Keep sliding the copper gauze when removing the screw out of barrel slowly, until the screw is clean. It takes only 5 minutes for step 5 and 6 operations.
Step 7: Wrap copper mesh at end of a long rod and pass it through the barrel. Then, chuck the rod into power drill, insert fresh gauze and pass back and forth through barrel until clean.
Step 8: Please do all the operations with silicone grease coated copper mesh. Now all parts is clean and ready for reassemble.
