1. Corrugated plate structured packing introduction


Corrugated packing is a kind of general structured packing, and most of the structured packing used in industry belongs to this kind. Corrugated packing is a disk-shaped packing composed of many corrugated thin plates. There are two inclination angles of 30 ° and 45 ° between the corrugated plate and the tower shaft. During assembly, the adjacent two corrugated plates are overlapped reversely. Each tray of packing is vertically installed in the tower, and the adjacent two trays of packing are staggered by 90 degrees.

3. Corrugated plate structured packing standard


1.1 This standard specifies the requirements for marking, specification and characteristics, materials, manufacturing requirements, inspection and acceptance, marking, packaging, storage and transportation of stainless steel orifice corrugated packing products, as well as the calculation of characteristic parameters of orifice corrugated packing.

1.2 The corrugated packing with stainless steel orifice plate is suitable for gas-liquid mass transfer separation tower equipment, and the applicable temperature of the packing is - 200 ~ 400 ℃.

1.3 The structured packing is suitable for the clean gas-liquid system without solid particles or suspended solids or easy to self assemble.

4. Classification of corrugated plate structured packing


Packed tower is a kind of gas-liquid mass transfer equipment with a large number of packings in the tower. Packed column was used in industrial production in the middle of the 19th century. Since then, it has developed with plate column, forming two different types of gas-liquid mass transfer equipment.
The body of the packed tower is a vertical cylinder with a supporting plate at the bottom. The packing material is placed on the support plate in a integral way. A packing pressing plate is installed above the packing to limit the movement of the packing with the updraft. The liquid is added from the top of the tower, sprayed onto the packing through the liquid distributor, and flows down the packing surface. The gas is sent from the bottom of the tower and distributed by the gas distribution device (gas distribution device is generally not set for small diameter tower), then it is countercurrent with the liquid and continuously passes through the gap of the packing layer. The gas-liquid two-phase is in close contact with the packing surface for mass transfer. Packed tower is a continuous contact gas-liquid mass transfer equipment, the two-phase composition changes continuously along the tower height. Under normal operation, the gas phase is continuous phase and the liquid phase is dispersed phase.
