1. Origin of QH mini ring metal random packing products:
QH type mini ring is a new type of high-efficiency random packing developed by Tsinghua University. It is mainly used for some cases where the packing suitable for the rectification process cannot obtain the ideal separation effect during liquid-liquid extraction. In other words, QH mini ring is more suitable for extraction process.
2. QH mini ring metal random packing structure and performance characteristics:
The flat ring structure reduces the geometric center of gravity of the packing element and reduces the horizontal placement of the packing in the bed, thus enhancing the stability of the packing element in standing. QH mini ring adopts extremely low height-diameter ratio of 0.2 to 0.3 to reduce the characteristics of serious axial mixing of liquid-liquid system, so that the random packing also has a certain degree of orderly arrangement, which reduces the flow resistance. Furthermore, the non-ideal flow of the liquid and liquid phases is effectively suppressed.
In addition, according to different extraction systems and production requirements, the packing can be made of different materials into different sizes. After a large number of experiments and industrial applications, QH mini rings are suitable for liquid-liquid extraction in low inter-facial tension systems. The packing has excellent properties of low flow resistance, high processing capacity, mass transfer effect, and wide selection range.
3. QH mini ring metal random packing family
QH mini ring random packing mainly includes QH-1 type mini ring and QH-2 type mini ring. Among them, the main feature of QH-1 type ring packing is the inner curved rib structure which is different from traditional packing. This structure promotes the circulating flow of droplet groups while enhancing the strength of the packing, and improves the processing capacity and mass transfer efficiency of the packing extraction tower.
On the basis of QH-1 mini ring, Tsinghua University has further developed QH-2 mini ring, which is characterized by the use of plum-shaped oblate rings to increase its specific surface area and improve mass transfer efficiency. In addition to the advantages of QH-1 mini ring, QH-2 mini ring also has the advantages of light weight and low cost.
